Fifteen years ago, walking through the coastal villages of Salento, I came across a ruin on the edge of a small village 3 kilometers from the sea, with a delightful hidden garden of fruit trees.
I thought of turning it into a small oasis of peace for my summer holidays.
The "Granaio di Giulia" is located on the edge of the town, and is close to the central square where there is the "Bar Portici" which brightens the days of the inhabitants of Diso.
The house overlooks a large field enclosed by dry stone walls covered with blackberries, which the summer sunset almost transforms into an African landscape.
The house is designed for the summer period, to spend pleasant moments in company, sitting on the slightly raised edge of the swimming pool or around the stone table, which constitute the heart of the construction.
The house is made up of two buildings, in the first there is the living room, which is surmounted by a mezzanine with a double bed, two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and the kitchen, which overlooks the garden, in front of the stone table and the barbecue .
In the second building there are two apartments, one on the ground floor and one on the first floor, each of which has a living room with sofa beds, double bedroom and bathroom.
