Beautiful Details!

My husband and I stayed during President's Day weekend and Karen was a very welcoming and accommodating host. Even though she was out of the country while we stayed there, she was very available and she made sure that we had everything we needed. The cottage is very beautifully decorated and it is far more unique than many of the other rentals I have stayed in over the years. The king bed is incredibly comfortable and the living space has everything you could need. Unfortunately, it was cold and raining during our stay, so we couldn't enjoy the deck, but it looked lovely! It did take some time for the heat to really warm the place up, and the bathroom never got warm, so that was a bit hard for us, but other than that, we had everything we could need. There was a problem with the hot water, but I texted Karen and she made sure we were taken care of very quickly. We would love to come back when the weather is warm! I'm sure it would be so nice to hang out on the deck with a cup of coffee. :)

Cute cottage

We loved the little town of Murphy’s. Karen and Barry were so accommodating and friendly. The cottage is very updated and comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom are on the first entry level. It should be noted that there are steep wooden stairs up to the second level of living quarters. A large deck outside is nice and has lots of foliage which made it very private. A very nice get away.

Getaway for 2

Our stay was perfect for two adults. Nice and newly remodeled cottage slightly away from the main house. Super quiet and not too far from downtown Murphys (about 5 mins). We saw a deer in the neighborhood, grey squirrel run by on the patio deck and a cute looking bird outside. The price to rent was very reasonable. Some things we needed but forgot were coffee creamer and a tissue box. Overall, our stay was fantastic and would stay again. Thank you for sharing your home!

Great place!

Quiet neighborhood and clean place. Electricity went out for about 12 hours. Natures fault! Had everything we needed. Comfy bed. Make sure you press the button on the shower to get hotter water! My husband said it was luke warm. I took a shower after and noticed the safety safety feature. The store and Murphys Hotel have generators so they stay open. All in all, we had a wonderful time!
