PLEASE NOTE: When you are checking the availability calendar, if our PENTHOUSE OF THE DOLPHINS Is not available for your desired dates, please look at my other wonderful home named HOME OF THE DOLPHINS because it may be available for the dates that you want. It is located just one floor below Penthouse Of The Dolphins on the 3rd floor and is simply fabulous! Its VRBO listing number is 20700. You will have a great time no matter which of my 2 great properties you choose for your vacation.

NOW ONTO THE FUN PART OF DESCRIBING MY HOME

MY WONDERFUL OCEANFRONT PENTHOUSE, which I have named Penthouse Of The Dolphins (Penthouse De Los Delfines) is directly on the water overlooking the Malecon.

IT IS LOCATED in the middle of Downtown Puerto Vallarta two blocks from the main plaza, Plaza Principal, and because of that is walking distance to virtually every shop, restaurant and attraction that Puerto Vallarta has to offer.

Its perfect for parties of up to four or five people, and of course is completely air-conditioned. Our building is 4 stories and has both elevator and stairway access. Penthouse Of The Dolphins is located on the 4th floor as is the swimming pool.

THE VIEW IS FABULOUS, looking south all the way down the coast to Cabo Corrientes and north all the way to Punta Mita, the northernmost point of Banderas Bay. The dolphins delight in swimming directly in front of my wraparound terrazas every day (hence the name 'Penthouse Of The Dolphins'), and early in the morning the local oyster divers collect their day’s catch on the rich reef in the crystal blue waters directly in front of my home. With its abundant underwater sea life, snorkeling and swimming are unsurpassed in this area.

BOTH BEDROOMS HAVE OCEANFRONT VIEWS, and the sunsets are truly amazing. If you are like me, you will spend both mornings on my main terrace, drinking your coffee and eating your breakfast watching the divers work and seeing the various seabirds hunt for their morning meal, and your evenings eating dinner at my handmade dining table, that is situated outside under the covered balcony. You will delight taking in the 180-degree view of the ocean and coastline from one end of the bay to the other. Every night there is a fireworks display that is mounted from the Spanish galleon named the Marigalante, and usually the ship passes about 500 feet away from my terrazas when it starts its show.

There Are 2 King-size Bedrooms each with its own connected bathroom, and there is also a third full guest bathroom complete with its own shower. All of the bathrooms are hand-crafted in granite and marble. Both bedrooms have Flat screen cable TV/DVD.

The Washer and Dryer are both located inside the condo.

WE ALSO HAVE Free Wi-Fi High Speed Internet, so just bring your laptop and connect through your wireless connection and you are ready to go surf the Internet at no charge anytime of the day or night.

HAND HEWN GRANITE countertops accent the custom designed kitchen, which is complete and has all the amenities to make preparation of meals a delight. UV Filtered water, Microwave, Blender, Coffee maker, 6 Burner gas stove, Large side by side refrigerator and dishwasher are all there, and various spices are always on hand.

THE SWIMMING POOL is located on the roof of the building next to my condo, so just walk out the front door, take 30 steps and you will be standing next to the pool, and the water is always warm and the view is unforgettable.

Parking is Secured under the building, as my condo has the only underground parking in the city center, and the building has 24-hour security personnel to serve you.

WE ALSO HAVE ONE of the best restaurants in all of Puerto Vallarta located on the ground floor of our building facing the beach on the new Malecon. Its name is VITEA, and you will be delighted when you have your lunch or dinner there. It is truly a 4 star restaurant and believe me, their Margaritas are the BEST in town!

THINGS TO DO!! Virtually every water sport is available for you here in Puerto Vallarta. Also, there are horseback rides that take you back into the jungle where you will see waterfalls and flocks of parrots flying overhead. Golf is a major attraction here with several world class courses. There are canopy tours in the jungle, you can visit the set of 'Terminator', and you can also swim with the dolphins, race mini cars and go to the local Seaworld, where the kids will have a great time. There are concerts every night by local artists in the main plaza, flea markets galore and special events where the local people from areas outside of Puerto Vallarta bring their local food and wares for you to taste and buy. There are numerous fabulous nightclubs and discos that are open until 4 in the morning, so you can dance the night away every night and never go to the same place twice.

A note about Puerto Vallarta beaches; beaches are not always completely sandy. Although I cannot guarantee that the beach directly in front of our building will be completely sandy upon your visit, there are always plenty of sandy beaches for everyone within a 3 minute walk of our building.

GUEST SERVICES: Our main endeavor to you is to make sure your stay with us is the best it can possibly be. Our property manager is always on call for you and lives nearby. We will happily provide you with any information or help that you need with securing any outside reservations or services that you may desire such as tours or activities, zip lining or snorkeling, etc.

1. Antibacterial hand soap is used throughout the house and Lysol wipes, hand sanitizer, and Lysol spray is there for you to use during your stay with us.

2. All sheets, pillowcases, shams, and coverlets are being washed with laundry detergent between guests.

3. All furniture covers and pillowcases and mattress pads are washed with laundry detergent between guests.

4. The kitchen is cleaned and disinfected with Comet with bleach.

5. All sinks and tubs are cleaned and disinfected with Comet with bleach.

6. For Your Protection and Peace Of Mind all our toilets are cleaned with Lysol Hydrogen Peroxide Toilet Bowl Cleaner that Kills 99.9% of all Viruses & Bacteria (or equal product), and then completely disinfected with Lysol All Purpose Cleaner that Kills 99.9% of Viruses & Bacteria (or equal product.)

7. Carpets are vacuumed and sprayed with Allergen disinfectant.

8. All counter tops and tables are cleaned and disinfected.

9. All mirrors and glass are cleaned.

10. All hard floors are swept and mopped with antimicrobial/antibacterial products like Clorox cleaner with bleach.

11. All pots, pans, utensils, cups, plates, storage containers are cleaned with detergent.

12. Most frequently touched surfaces like door and cabinet knobs, handles, light switches are disinfected with antibacterial wipes.

8th year for us there? 9th?
Can't beat it. From the condo we walk to all our favorite and great restaurants: La Palapa, Barcelonas Tapas, Trio, and Vitea, which is right downstairs. The sunsets are stunning. Every year I say I'm not going to take any more sunset pictures, and yet when I counted at the end of our stay, I'd taken 38. The people-watching is great, and if you go to the Saturday farmer's market, make sure you stand in the longest line there and buy baked goods. (We bring a loaf of whole wheat home with us.) When we drive back to the airport and look at the condos and high-rise hotels along the route, we can't imagine being that far from the action. If you want a taste of Mexico and not a hermetically sealed resort, stay here. Love the new rocking chairs on the patio, BTW!

We will be back!!!
-We spent our anniversary, which is also NYE, at the condo. Our trip was about 10 days, and the experience was amazing. We had family that has spent time in Puerto Vallarta and when we told them we were planning a trip and looking at this condo they were very negative about the location due to concerns over noise. I’m a very light sleeper, and I was prepared with ear plugs, which I only used twice during the stay (and probably only needed once). -New Year’s Eve at this property was spectacular!!! We ate dinner out and walked back to the condo via El Malecon and enjoyed the crowds, music, shows, and food vendors. We made it to the rooftop pool area a little before midnight and at 11:55pm the fireworks started and lasted for 15 minutes! It was the best firework display I’ve ever seen and included the pirate ship in the bay. What a great time! -We loved the location of the condo. We would walk El Malecon multiple times a day and it’s an amazing starting point for daily adventures around town. We walked almost 20,000 steps every day! The veranda is to die for. We spent mornings enjoying coffee and evenings enjoying the sunset with wine and cheese. We enjoyed multiple whale and dolphin sightings and the use of the binoculars. -The landlord and his family were very nice and quick to accommodate us when we felt like we needed to delay leaving a day due to inclement weather in our flight path. -The building is secure, and the guards were quick to become friends!

Excellent unit in an older but well maintained and secure condo. The photos are accurate; great views and right on the Malecon. Unit is large; and nice to have 3 bathrooms!. Safe building; friendly guards and nice to have gated entrance. Really responsive property manager and owner. 100% recommend!

Pure Joy
We have been coming to PV for 28 years and have stayed in all kinds of properties. If you like the hustle and busyness of the Malecon and love the dining choices of the Romantic Zone, then this is the perfect spot. The property is exactly as described and the balcony is the largest we’ve ever had. Safe, secure, and comfortable are the three words that stand out most in my mind. Just pure joy.

I came to Puerto Vallarta in 2000 and fell in love with it immediately. I have been blessed with the good fortune to be able to live here with the wonderful Mexican people and share in their relaxed style of living, where everything slows down just a notch or two from the “hurry up” pace of America. To be able to sit on my terrace and view the ocean and listen to the sound of the birds and waves is a wonderfully relaxing experience that I look forward to every morning that I am here. When I arrived at my future home, walked through the entrada of the building and looked out and saw the azure blue waters of the Pacific and the incredible view of Banderas Bay right in front of me, I fell in love immediately. Being in the center of this wonderful town, I knew that this was the best location in all of Puerto Vallarta. I couldn't resist it.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

I Found Out that I could be just as secluded as I wanted as our building is very quiet, or I could enjoy a bounty of cultural and ethnic delights just by stepping outside. It was just up to me to decide what I would do on any given day, be a sun worshiper on the beach or at the pool, or join in the party that is always going on somewhere in this wonderful old colonial town. The views from my terrazas are unsurpassed, I can see the tourists strolling on the Malecon and I can also look out to the Pacific and see whales, dolphins, and even the oyster divers who like to work directly in front of home here.
