Alternatively, you could sit out on the terrace and enjoy an aperitif, and take in the brilliant glacier des bossons. This Chamonix property is perfect for a couples getaway, or a family holiday. The location makes a great base for a holiday anytime during the year; with easy access to the bus station and therefore the rest of the valley. In addition to that, there is an underground parking spot and space outside for communal parking if you want to bring your car and explore even further.

Summer top tip - This beautiful location is so close to the trails, hike up to le Merlet animal park and more; you can reward yourself with a beer at Le Vert on your way back.

Winter top tip - Take advantage of the free bus service in the valley to explore further a field. You could also book a bus to ski in Courmayeur for the day, covered in the Mont Blanc Unlimited pass, it makes for a great day out!
