Questa è una costruzione più recente con 3 letti / 3 bagni Wisconsin Log Home su 40 acri di terreno al centro di Egg Harbor, per un facile accesso a tutte le attività di Door County. La casa è situata su 40 ettari boschivi che ha ampi sentieri per passeggiate in tutta la foresta di latifoglie. Inoltre, il 155 ettari di Door County Land Trust - Oak Road Preserve si trova direttamente dall'altra parte della strada e offre quasi 2 km di sentieri. È meraviglioso!!

Una cucina completamente attrezzata con tutti gli elementi necessari per preparare i pasti, grande frigorifero con ice maker, forno a microonde, caffettiera, centrifuga per insalata, frullatore, pentola di coccio, cucina a gas e lavastoviglie. Una lavatrice e asciugatrice completa si trovano nel livello inferiore con l'aria centrale in tutta la casa.

C'è una grande sala grande con caminetto in pietra e veranda coperta appena fuori dalla grande sala. Enorme cortile con pozzo del fuoco e sedie in legno. Questa casa di tronchi è uno dei modi migliori per sperimentare la contea di Door, vicino a tutto tranne che appartato e lontano da tutto. Abbiamo un altro elenco VRBO (# 505916) "Boyer Beach House" situato nella baia di Sturgeon sul lago Michigan. Speriamo che non ti aspetti il Four Seasons Hotel; facciamo del nostro meglio e speriamo che vi godiate il vostro soggiorno!

House and grounds are beautiful

The house and property were amazing. The house comes equipped with everything you need. Plus its a great location. We are returning next spring with friends.

Lovely cabin

Second year in a row staying here in the winter. Walking the property’s footpaths with the dog and then warming up by the fire is the highlight of our year.

Much needed Door County retreat

Myself, husband, two kids, and my parents had a wonderful getaway to this great property. We enjoyed walking the trails each morning, and exploring Door County during the day, having a nice and cozy cabin to retreat to at night. The cabin was the perfect size for our group. I love that there is a bathroom located on each floor. It was easy to access but far enough away from the main stretch. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Family fun holiday get away!

This was our second year spending Christmas at the cabin. Wonderful location with lots of hiking trails and outdoor bonfires right there on the property. Very clean cabin with everything you need-great layout for everyone to hang out together and also have some privacy/quiet time from your family. We love having the fireplace and a big family space-really great space for cooking inside or grilling outside celebrating the holiday & watching the Packer game & watching some movies. Becky is easily to reach if you have any questions, when we had a big snowstorm they had someone promptly come out and plow the driveway, very approachable and friendly. We will definitely be back again.

When thinking about this write up for VRBO we were surprised that our Door County story started almost 30 years ago. We first visited Door County to see about repairs for an outboard motor for an old Boston Whaler. (long story) During the brief visit we were amazed by the harbor towns, coastlines and rural open spaces. I remember saying “I thought this was only on the east coast”. Every Door County town has its own special charm and unique attractions and best of all, everything is so close that you can have a great Door County experience over a long weekend. However, there really is so much to do, without feeling rushed, we recommend at least a week stay every year for the next 30 years to fully appreciate Door County.
Our honeymoon was a 14-day trip around Lake Michigan on the same old Boston Whaler (motor repaired) our plan was to visit all the highly touted harbor towns on the Michigan side and then cross Lake Michigan, which I don’t recommend doing this in a 21-foot boat, spending the second half of our trip exploring Door County. That was only our second time in Door County, but our experience confirmed that Door County was a very special place; we found Door County exceptional. Numerous historic harbor towns in close proximity, 300 miles of varied shoreline of rock, bluff and sand, thousands of acres of State and County Parks on Lake Michigan (and Green Bay) and an iconic rural landscape.
After years of visiting Door County, we were lucky enough to find a small house in a unique location of Sturgeon Bay and have been renting this home to vacationers for over 4 years ( VRBO#505916). We have found this experience to be very positive and fulfilling by being a small part in helping people enjoy Door County. We have had such a positive experience that we decided to find exceptional homes in unique locations of Door County for vacation rentals. The Boyer Log Cabin is one of those properties (www.BoyerLogCabin).

The Boyer Log Cabin is located in rural Door County just a few brief minutes from Egg Harbor. Egg Harbor is the first harbor town after Sturgeon Bay on highway 42. It can be described as small and quaint and in our opinion, offers the best beaches on the Green Bay side. Just one block south of downtown Egg Harbor is the Village Beach that offers many amenities including an expanded playground, a small boat hand launch ramp, changing room buildings and walking paths. Another option is the Frank Murphy Park located 3 miles south. This park is 14 acres that includes a boat launch, walking path and sand beach. Egg Harbor is unique to have these two sand beaches as the Green Bay side of Door County is mainly rock shore.

This is an exceptional house in a unique location directly across from the Oak Road Nature Preserve just minutes outside the town of Egg Harbor. The Boyer Log Cabin is a newer construction Wisconsin Log Home offering 3 levels of living space, there is a bedroom and a bathroom on each level. It is a perfect option when travelling with a large family or a group because it affords a level of privacy that is not found with other vacation rentals. In addition, the outside space provides privacy from neighbors as it is set on a wooded 40-acre parcel. There are wide walking trails that meander through the hardwood forest of Sugar Maple, Beech and Birch. It’s a perfect location to explore Door County.
