great in many ways, disappointing in many ways
I want to start off by saying that Mark, the property manager, was very responsive to messages and did his best to make things right. That being said, there was a lot wrong. Some of which represented chronic issues, some of which were more timely and should have been dealt with:
1. No hot water in the kitchen (either kitchen) - we literally filled pots from the low pressure shower heads and carried them to the kitchen to do all of the dishes
2. No functional dishwasher - it didn't have enough pressure to clean
3. Poor washer/dryer - My wife had three new shirts torn in the dryer that we had to replace
4. The range was filthy
5. The main oven in the house was broken - however, I was warned off this a few days before the visit
6. Some of the burners on the range didn't work well - they were weak or emitted a strong gas odor when used
7. The kitchen was VERY poorly stocked - we actually had to screw a handle back on a pot because it was in such rough shape, and, in general, it was hard to find things in good, useable condition.
8. When the small, functional oven was used it made the house wreak of melted plastic for a while until we aired it out.
9. There were several broken light fixtures and dead bulbs throughout the house.
10. The grill barely functions - it was incredibly filthy and difficult to light.
11. The master shower didn't drain well - by the end of a shower there was a 1-2" pool of water that took about 30-60 minutes to drain.
