Farmhouse Accommodation near Florence in Mugello
The farmhouse "i Nidi di Belforte" is immersed in the green hills that surround Florence, in the valley called Mugello, where the Medici family that so helped sponsor the Florentine Renaissance originally came from.
The buildings are part of an agricultural farm of over 200 hectares in the center of a protected area where wild animals such as doe, deer and wild boar live undisturbed. The farm produces extra-virgin olive oil as well as high-quality chestnuts in the woods.
The farmhouse is the ideal base from which to visit Florence, Siena, Arezzo and the other Tuscan cities of art and small medieval villages that characterize the Tuscan landscape.
For those who prefer enjoying peace and quiet, the beautiful vistas can provide the background for relaxing at the farmhouse apartments and by the saltwater swimming pool or for taking walks amongs the fields and woods that surround the farmhouse.
The origins of our farmhouse accommodation "i Nidi di Belforte" go back to the Middle Ages, when the small village with its guard tower dominated over the Belforte Valley over the lands of the Count Guidi family.

Each of the apartments has its own separate entrance and small private garden, a kitchen area, small fireplace and independent heating.
