Hidden in the historic centre of Praiano, Villa Gianpa offers the possibility to enjoy an authentic Amalfi Coast home.

The terrace alone makes it worthwhile to visit the property; it gives the sensation of overhanging the blue of the sea; the views of the entire Golf of Sorrento are truly spectacular.

The atmosphere that surrounds the house and the whole neighbourhood is simple, informal and intimate....perfect for the vacationer wanting to spend time relaxing.

The property can be easily reached from the state road or the central Piazza of the nearby church of San Luca and there are stores and essential services available nearby.

Not far from the property are hair dressers, tobacconist, banking machine, pizzeria and a take out restaurant. The bus that connects to the centre of town and the nearby town of Positano is just a short walk from the property.

This same bus connects to the beach and the commercial centre of Vettica with its many bars, restaurants, grocery stores and night-life.

From here it is easy to reach Amalfi, Sorrento and Salerno by SITA bus lines.
The property offers all modern comforts, air conditioning included.

Birthday trip with family

Loved the Villa. The steps were a bit of a challenge for me and my husband who are seniors but we handled them. The view was marvelous!!!

Lovely property and beautiful location

Lovely spacious villa with stunning views, perfect for relaxing holiday with family and/or friends. Nice, quiet location with good access to other popular places. As with other parts of the Amalfi Coast, quest need to be able to climb many stairs. Impressive sun terrace with a relatively small but sufficient pool that looks over the horizon. Would definitely recommend this amazing villa !

An incredible villa!

Giampaolo was there to help us with our bags, show us the villa, and welcome us to Praiano. The rooftop deck, pool and outdoor dining area were beautiful! What a wonderful place. Location was perfect! A wonderful restaurant and two grocery stores are close by. Perfection!

Un endroit de rêve.

Un emplacement de rêve ... Très belle et grande villa très bien située ! Depuis la très grande terrasse, vous avez une vue magnifique sur la mer. Nombreuses possibilités pour s'y installer au soleil ou à l'ombre, au calme. La villa est très spacieuse. Deux chambres ainsi que le séjour offrent une superbe vue sur la mer. Les salles de bain des chambres 2 et 3 nécessiteraient quelques aménagements, vu le prix de la location. Filtration et nettoyage de la piscine à améliorer.

Great Villa with fantastic views (just be ready for all the steps...villa and the town!)

Overall a very nice stay, with Paolo (the owner) very friendly and keen to welcome you and ensure you enjoy yourself and know how everything works. The top terrace has stunning views across the coast; loads of loungers and shaded areas and a medium sized but very welcoming swimming pool. The main house comfortable with nice breezes (it was hot but we only felt the need to use the air conditioning at night in the bedroom). TV has sattelite; beds very comfortable and kitchen serviceable although we ate out most of the time and had fantastic meals (our favourite Franchino's, about a 15 minute walk, great sea views and service/food). The local supermarket, despite small size, suited us well for the week. Very friendly owner. In terms of room for improvement: wifi extremely poor/slow (we all resorted to our own 4G networks, the house system had the pace of old style dial-up!). Kitchen adequate but could be better equipped (e.g. larger cups/mugs...electric kettle (versus gas option)...oven gloves...sharper knives, etc. Not a big deal for us as we ate out most of the time and were only a group of 4 people). Finally, Praiano, like most of the Amalfi Coast, is built on a very steep site which entails lots of steps and steep walking up and down. Therefore if you are not fit or have mobility issues (or small children that need a buggy) I would not recommend this area (no reflection of the Villa, just the geography!!). Overall, a great stay (and everyone's legs in fantastic shape!).
