Abbiamo una meravigliosa piscina. Se non ti senti all'altezza della folla sulla spiaggia o sull'acqua salata, goditi il relax a bordo piscina privata o fai un tuffo per rinfrescarti nei mesi estivi. Al piano superiore c'è una camera da letto con un portico e un letto matrimoniale, camera matrimoniale con un letto matrimoniale e un bagno completo, oltre a un altro maestro con una regina che va sulla veranda e un'altra camera da letto con un letto e letti a castello. Al piano inferiore ci sono due camere da letto con un letto matrimoniale e due letti singoli ciascuna. È tempo che la mamma abbia una vacanza? C'è un grande massaggiatore appena fuori dall'isola. Splendida casa vacanze situata in posizione ideale vicino al centro dell'isola, a pochi passi dall'oceano. Sia che tu scelga una giornata pigra sulla spiaggia o qualche ora sul campo da golf per riempire le tue giornate, troverai questa spaziosa casa al mare la tua base di partenza ideale. Ocean Isle è una spiaggia incontaminata, pulita e tranquilla e perfetta per il divertimento in famiglia, ma sei a pochi minuti da ottimi ristoranti, negozi, un numero incredibile di campi da golf di classe mondiale, nonché minigolf, parco NASCAR e parchi a tema.
Freeman's Place è stato recentemente ristrutturato, è abbastanza confortevole e ha tutte le caratteristiche e le comodità che desideri. Ci sono 2 camere da letto al piano inferiore, ognuna ha un letto full size e un letto singolo. C'è un ampio bagno in mezzo. Al piano superiore troverete la camera da letto n. 3 con TV, regina e un letto a castello. Camera da letto # 4 è un maestro con il proprio bagno privato completo. Ha un letto matrimoniale e una TV. Camera da letto n. 5, un grande maestro, è un santuario con la sua baconia privata con vista sull'oceano. Dispone di TV, letto matrimoniale, poltrona, tavolo e sedie e un mobile bar. È il luogo perfetto per rilassarsi e godersi la tranquilla brezza dell'oceano. La cucina, la sala da pranzo e la camera familiare sono tutte aperte e spaziose. Comprende una lavastoviglie, un frigorifero, un forno e un microonde insieme a una lavatrice e asciugatrice. Ottima vista della spiaggia da una veranda coperta con sedie a dondolo e tavolo da picnic. La casa è dotata di WiFi, quindi porta i tuoi laptop - anche i professionisti impegnati dovrebbero avere il tempo di rilassarsi. Ci sono 2 grandi docce esterne private con acqua calda e fredda per lavare via la sabbia. Aspetta c'è di più! Abbiamo sedie da spiaggia in modo da non doverle imballare nella tua macchina già imballata.

Molte famiglie sono tornate per godersi questa casa anno dopo anno. Alcuni vengono da oltre 20 anni!

Perfect Beach House

Loved this home because it was a real beach house. They're are a lot of houses to rent at the beach but so many have taken away from the feel of a beach house as they look inside as if they were any other house in a plain old neighborhood. This house has all the needs of your modern home but all the beach decor and layout that gives you the complete beach feel and experience. Not enough good could be said. We will be staying here again!!

Overall nice place, but some hiccups

This location had a lot of good and some bad. 1st, I want to start off by saying that we didn’t get check in information until 1 hour after our check in time. Imagine traveling for 11+ hours, arriving to a property, and not having any info on how to get in…. It was a bit of a nightmare scenario. We began our attempts to get this info at around noon for the 3 pm check in. After many calls, voicemails, texts, and calls to Vrbo we finally were able to reach the owner. It was not a pleasant experience sitting in our car with our dog and in 90 degree heat for over an hour trying to get in. So after all of that, there were some PROS and some CONS. PROS: 1.) the location is great. Super close to beach access and close to the center of town. 2.) nice set up. Plenty of space and rooms are nicely spaced out 3.) kitchen and dining area are really nice and big. It’s a great gathering space. 4.) the access to the golf cart was nice and it really helps you explore different parts of the island. 5.) the pool area was a true gem! Lots of sitting space, great shaded areas, and the pool is perfect size. 6.) the house is VERY pet friendly. 7.) the owner does have a passion for the island and genuinely wants to see people have a good time. CONS: 1.) the above mentioned check in situation. I cannot stress to you how awful this was. The number listed on Vrbo for the owner was disconnected and the other number I had was going straight to voicemail. You read all of the stories about people getting scammed and we assumed this had happened to us. I also don’t think this was an overreaction given it was an hour AFTER check in. We paid a good chunk of $$ to stay here and we weren’t too happy that we lost an hour of our stay and it was an hour of pure anxiety and tension. I also felt like the owner was not very sympathetic about it and kind of brushed it off. 2.) there was some confusion about the golf cart. It would have been helpful to include some info on where the keys are located. The sign in the garage where it is parked states that it is a $300 rental fee, but it’s actually included. I would recommend having a laminated instruction card or sheet explaining that stuff (no rental fee, where the keys are located, how to access it, etc). 3.) The place was not very clean. We actually questioned if the cleaning crew came that day. Some dead roaches, open bags of food in the bedrooms, pet hair and debris accumulated on the stairs and corners.

Great Host

Arnold really cares about his tenants. He is very good with communication and I enjoyed his willingness to work with me during an unforeseen natural disaster(hurricane). Would love to come stay here in the future!

My family and I built this beach house many years ago, we have updated and improved it many times because we love to spend time at Ocean Isle. I am retired and love to have my children and grandchildren around, so we make sure there is plenty of room and lots of fun things to do. It's easy for the kids to cross the street and go to the beach in the morning and the house is so close, they can scamper back for lunch. We have a book collection for beach readers with a 'take one - leave one' policy. Many renters send us pictures of their vacation time and we also ask them to write reviews of local restaurants and attractions in our book of memories. We want you to enjoy your vacation so please call me if you have any questions.

My brother and his family travel from Texas every year to spend a week. My family lives in SC so we always invade while they are here and let all the kids re-aquaint with each other. There are always some great Kodak moments and fun memories that will last a lifetime.

Summer is great but Spring weekends at Ocean Isle are truely special. We arrive Friday afternoon just in time to enjoy the sunset, do a little work around the house on Saturday, and then have the rest of the weekend to walk on the beach, play a little golf and enjoy a few cold ones with old friends at Sharky's.

If you decide to visit Freeman's Place, I know you will have as much fun as we do. Your stay will be easy, comfortable and relaxing. Don't forget to take pictures and write in our guest book - your memories are part of ours.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

OIB is a great, centally located, vacation spot. The town is very family oriented and the beach is beautiful, wide and pristine. We are about 30 minutes to the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach and going north, about 30 minutes from great adventures in the Wilmington area.

There is plenty of shopping in the area from small boutiques and antique stores to the wonderful vacation souvenier stores to buy that T-shirt.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

One of my favorite rituals at our beach house is cooking breakfast for all my grandchildren and their friends. They all sit at the Kitchen counter and watch as I create the World's Best Pancakes in all sorts of crazy shapes. The boys always want animals and I save the hearts for my girls! We have two Large porches we spend a lot of time on...in Hammock or the many Rockers we have on the Porches.

My Mother, who is 89 years old, holds court at the end of the dining room table, quietly observing all that goes on. It's my job to keep that coffee cup of hers filled...it's never good when I hear, 'Arnold, my coffee cup is empty.' Her younger sister always arrives with a lucious Honey-Baked Ham and the 2 of them hold down the fort while we all head to the beach.

One of our favorite features of the house is the downstairs - open air showers. When we return from the beach, the little ones pile into the showers, get all clean and come upstairs ready to go. We really have a house with 5 showers so it makes getting ready for dinner very easy.

The night winds down and the young ones go to bed, that's when we can all sit on the front porches and rock the night away. Someone decided all the rocking chairs need to be painted pastel, beach colors. She thought this could be done in a few hours...3 days later, 1 chair is painted aqua. I hope you will see more rocking chairs painted in more colors when you arrive at Freeman's Place for your vacation.

PS - the paint is in the closet downstairs in case you feel creative!
