First time is the charm

This was our first visit to Branson...and our first experience with VRBO. The checkin almost didn't happen as I was expecting good internet to get the information off my phone...and I couldn't download the details. I tried calling but the message said I had to communicate through the app...which I couldn't do because of poor cell service...and when I found service...the app wasn't functioning. Finally got the data...and it was pretty easy from there. We traveled with our Adult daughter so the accommodations were great with two large bedrooms both with King Beds...and two bathrooms. The screened porch was nice...and will likely be welcome in the summer months as the bugs were just starting to make their presence felt. We didn't do any cooking but the kitchen seemed well equipped...and the coffee maker worked fine. Lots of fridge space and all the extras seemed to be there if need be. The facility is part of a large development, and we had a great location down on the water...but it was a ways up to the pool and excercise facilities. Would have been great to have a personal hot tub...which we would have used...or, to be here when the outdoor pool would have been open...as I am sure we would have utilized it. The occupancy was fairly low, and we were on the lower level of the two story unit. There was someone in the upper unit the last night we were there....and there was no denying they were there. It was an very enjoyable stay.

Would not stay again

While the house was EXTREMELY clean and was a great location, there was some serious issues. The sound coming from the upstairs property was horrible. Even just them walking around sounded like they were a group of elephants. I’ve lived in numerous downstairs apartments an d NEVER had noise issues like this. Anytime the upstairs bathroom or guest bath in this unit were used, there was terrible knocking in the walls keeping you awake. The kitchen utensils seemed like they were from an estate sale of a person who got them from a dollar store and had them for 25 years. They were flimsy and the plastic coating was coming off, into our food. Most rental units provide sample shampoo, conditioners and lotions. This unit just provided a tiny 10 cent bar of soap for washing hands. It would’ve been nice if it was added as something that wasn’t provided bc we brought nothing. The unit itself is beautiful and again, a wonderful location, with a beautiful balcony view. But I would never recommend this unit due to the issues listed above.

Thanksgiving with friends noisy group upstairs

Overall the actual property we were in was as advertised and great. The downside was the 2 five year olds upstairs that were constantly running around and we could hear every loud footstep. The manager for our Condo reached out to the other to try and solve the issue, but it wasn’t resolved. This part of the experience really was the only detractor for the entire stay. The location was great, the view was fantastic.

This condo is nestled below the bluffs on the banks of Lake Taneycomo in a truly unique setting, tucked in among the trees with a wonderful Lake view. At the center of the condo building this condo boasts an especially wonderful view from the Living Room, Main Bedroom, & Screened-In Porch, while also being especially quiet & private. This condo is just a two-minute walk from the lakefront & playground.
