Spettacolare Mountain View Cabin, Royal Gorge / Westcliff. Accogliente!

La nostra casetta rustica, immerso in una collina, a 8100 piedi di altezza, si affaccia attraverso una valle spettacolare 14.000 piedi Sangre de Cristo catena montuosa, nelle Montagne Rocciose del Colorado. Situato a 35 minuti a ben curati strade di ghiaia di montagna da Canon City. Letti nuovi di zecca Diversi (maggio 2014 sono stati acquistati), rendendo tutti i posti letto in cabina confortevole !!! Calci indietro sul ponte anteriore, si ha una vista panoramica sulle montagne su tre lati. E, seduto su una di 11 acri privato lotto boschivo, si dispone di pace, tranquillità e la solitudine - il prossimo più vicino si trova a 400 iarde di distanza. La grande sala accogliente zona / cucina è il luogo ideale per divertirsi in famiglia - un camino a gas, comodi divani attorno a un tavolo da gioco, e una cucina completamente attrezzata. Le tre camere da letto dormire sei comodamente, con spazio per altri 2 se si utilizza il divano per 1 e 1 lettino estraibile, e sacchi a pelo nelle camere. A pochi minuti di distanza dalla foresta nazionale di San Isabel, si ha accesso a Buffalo Peaks, Collegiate Peaks, Mount Massive, Sangre de Christo e picchi spagnoli zone selvagge. Fantastico il rafting e il tubo, o eccitante pesca a mosca vi aspettano sul fiume Arkansas, a 30 minuti di auto dalla cabina. Puoi mountain bike proprio fuori dalla porta anteriore, in bicicletta a pochi minuti lungo la strada, o esplorare una strada di fuoco su per le montagne Wet per ore. Se siete più di un fan di ATV, questa zona del Colorado è caricato con alcuni dei migliori percorsi con le più splendide viste. O, se volete semplicemente sedersi in pace e tranquillità e godere di una vista mozzafiato, questa semplice cabina è per voi. Venite a trovare il vostro equilibrio, ricaricare le batterie, ispirare i sensi e dormire pacificamente come un bambino in questa cabina caldo e robusto, ma non è lussuoso.

Winter Break

We stayed 2 nights on our way to Aspen. The cabin is spacious and comfortable. We especially loved the porch and sauna. If this cabin is one of your options, you won’t be disappointed.

Family Getaway

This VRBO was nice. The cabin itself was clean and had all the necessities. Definately print the directions beforehand because service is spotty at best. The sauna was great & the owner was very nice and pretty responsive. It was not as secluded as I thought it would be as there are neighbor's close enough to hear. But for the most part it was a nice relaxing weekend with nice sights and wildlife.

Amazing cabin

I'm a born and raised Houstonian so we were fairly concerned about the lack of AC. Temperatures in Canon City were hitting 102 degrees but the temperatures were never a concern at the cabin. Even at the end of July we the temp was dropping into the 60's by the end of the day and we slept comfortably in this clean and spacious home. The living/dinning area was bigger than it looked in the pictures and was inviting and restful while the kitchen was supplied with everything needed. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also clean and comfortable. I was looking for a location that would be dark at night so we could enjoy the stars and this cabin fit the bill perfectly. We stayed up every night to enjoy the sunset and the night sky. The wildlife was certainly a bonus as well. We saw 3-4 deer within an hour of arriving and plenty of humming birds and rabbits as well. The cabin is a beautiful home in a beautiful location and we enjoyed every minute of our stay.

Mountain Getaway

My wife and I needed to get away for a weekend and found this place and booked it. The instructions were great but we really didn't use it. My wife put in the address in her phone while we were in town and GPS took us right to this place. Helpful Hint: Make sure you put in the address while you still have a good cell service. It was nice being away in the peacefulness of the mountains and forest with views that make this place worth while and the stars were spectacular. Overall, this place was exactly what we needed for our weekend trip.

We are a family currently living on both sides of the Atlantic. We have lived in Boston, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington D.C. and Denver. But our favorite place in the world is the Sangre de Cristo and Wet Mountain range in southcentral Colorado. We are 'outdoor people' - love to hike with our dogs, take beautiful photos of nature, canoe on a lake or river, cross-country ski through a forest. And at the end of the day, take the time to cook a gourmet meal together and enjoy a nice glass of wine. We are also voracious readers and love board games.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

The cabin was love at first sight. We are not Club Med or Hilton Hotel people. But we are nature/peace and quiet people. This rustic log cabin was barely visible from the road, hidden by pines, nestled into the side of a hill. It sits up higher than all of the other properties around it. With huge windows on three sides of the Great Room, you have commanding views of Locke Mountain/San Isabel National Forest and the Sangre de Cristos. We also value 'quiet' - living in, or near, a large city for most of our lives, it is nice to be in at a place where you actually hear nothing but the gentle breeze through the pinion pines, an occasion bird chirping, the braying of the neighbors donkey. Often, ou hear nothing at all. A car passes maybe once or twice an hour - and even then, it is 400 yards away, and down a hill. We chose this cabin as a perfect get-away for ourselves, never thinking that we would rent it out to others. The only reason we are not in Denver now enjoying our cabin is because of job opportunities abroad in Sweden. This cabin is perfect year-round (provided you have a good 4-wheel drive vehicle in the snowy months, or chains on your tires).

For nature-lovers, hunters and fly-fishermen on the Arkansas River (17 miles from the property) peaceful and majestic mountain views. Sauna, Relaxing , away from all noise, cooking and enjoying friends on the deck. Simple with no distractions, yet having everything you need - a full bath, fully equipped kitchen, well-appointed great room and three bedrooms. Because our 11 acres is fairly secluded, you can even enjoy skeet and target shooting on the Northeast corner of the property. We are only 500 yards across a valley from the San Isabel National forest. We are a 20 minute drive to the quaint town of Westcliffe with some great restaurants and great for art enthusiasts and shopping.
