Questo complesso di appartamenti vanta una posizione strategica a Keystone, in River Run, un'area in montagna e in riva al fiume. Keystone Resort (stazione sciistica) e Stazione sciistica di Arapahoe Basin sono due tappe fondamentali per gli amanti delle attività. Per un po' di sano shopping, invece, il non plus ultra è Main Street. Sei in cerca di eventi sportivi o spettacoli a cui assistere? Silverthorne Recreation Center o Breckenridge Recreation Center potrebbero avere in programma qualcosa di interessante per te. BETTER than advertised! Summer 2022

Dan’s property looked almost too good to be true in the posting - and we were honestly somewhat nervous as to what we would find when we arrived. What a dream come true! If you’re looking to enjoy a get away in the Dillon area (Summit County, CO) with fantastic access to the gondola up the mountain, fresh air, endless outdoor adventures, and a SPLENDID place to kick back each night - you can’t pass this up! The quality of the furnishings, the quiet location (end unit in the building), and the sprawling layout make this a perfect unit for large families or multiple couples. The unit is above a restaurant in the River Run Village. Yes, you can hear it opening in the morning, but it isn’t early and it isn’t loud. It’s quite nice to be reminded that you’re living in a small community with multiple small shops. Each morning the bustle of opening doors and windows, music playing, and food being prepared created an incredible atmosphere to start our days. We have visited Keystone multiple times and have stayed in three different SM units over the years. We absolutely loved the free trips up the mountain on Fridays, Kidtopia (great kids’ summer programs including crafts, hikes, yoga, movies, and much more), and coffee from Inxpot in the village in the mornings. This year, sadly, we discovered that Kidtopia no longer has a presence in Keystone (in the summer, at least). That abruptly changed the plans we had with our two young children, but we quickly found other ways to make great memories. The bike paths, Dercum Trail, Dillon Reservoir, Silverthorne, and Rocky Mountain National Park all helped us pack our THREE WEEKS with so many great activities and new memories. Dan’s unit comes with six passes up the mountain. In the summer the gondola runs four or five days a week (usually Th-Su). Even though it didn’t run every day, we used those passes as much as we could. Dan’s willingness to share those is BEYOND hospitable. We likely saved as much as $1,600! Make sure you use those passes! I do feel I need to mention that there is some major construction happening a stone’s throw away from the unit. They were just getting started this summer, so the screech of large equipment also filled the air as they were excavating. That will likely continue for many months, but it’s only going to leave the River Run Village better than it is now. Progress takes time and causes some distress along the way. But… Book it! Just don’t take our weeks! :-)

Keystone has been always been a big part of my family's life. My Dad was one of the original investors when the mountain opened for skiing on November 21, 1970. My sister, brother, Mom and Dad were all there that day when we broke a bottle of champagne on the Argentine Chairlift to christen the opening. It was my Dad's love for skiing that got me hooked at very young age.

I was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, but knew I wanted to go to college in Colorado, because of Keystone etc. Getting to Keystone from the University of Denver was an easy drive in my Ford Torino. My parents had a smaller condo at that time at Wild Irishman, so it was never a problem to find friends to join me for a weekend in the '70's.

When the River Run area of Keystone was developed in the mid '90's, we sold off the other condos and purchased #8194 Silver Mill. It's the largest condo in the building and has a killer location and easy to walk to the lifts. Being on one level was a plus too.

For the last 37 years my wife Beth and I have raised our kids in Encinitas, CA (San Diego). Also, they were raised on skiing/boarding at Keystone. I've owned this place since 1997 when it was built. I'm able to offer my 6 FREE DAILY LIFETIME TRANSFERABLE SKI PASSES to friends/guests who rent the condo. It's a great perk and saves a lot of money! $1600/Day!!!

I have much sentimental value attached to this area because both of my parents are gone now. Keystone is our second home. After you stay there, you'll feel the same way and will call me every year to rebook. Thanks!

Location, location, location and SIZE. Able to sleep 9 people! 3 full size bathrooms! 3 bedrooms are very rare in the River Run area of Keystone. There is much value with this property. Great for a family or couples wanting to get away. Also, it's the largest condo in Silver Mill. Many guests have to take a shuttle to get to the ski lifts....not you! A very short 100 yard walk to the gondola and lifts....LOCATION!
