It is a family house. I love studying and I am going to achieve a Phd in Economics. Specifically, my interest of research is Economics of Religion.
Being a true Roman, the reason is clear and the Pope contribute to make the Roman.
At least to be Roman means to know the existence of the very good and of the very bad and thus never be scandalised, since the beginnig of civilization (Roman time) till the end of the civilization (Nowdays)!

Great Stay in Trastevere
We enjoyed our stay at the B&B in Trastevere. The location was great, It was safe and within walking distance to Rome's sights. There were great restaurants nearby. The rooms and building were lovely Flaminia was the perfect host. She arranged transportation for us and directed us to restaurants in the area. We would stay there again.
Close to all the action, but not in the action!
The rooms are located in a great area of the city, Trastevere, complete with dozens of restaurants bars and shops and and fantastic market in the Square right across from the apartment.. We contacted Fleminia on rather short notice, but she was quick to get back to us to confirm our reservation and make check-in arrangements. The room is tastefully furnished and newly renovated. Best of all it had double paned windows that kept out the noise in the Square below, and AC that was a welcome relief from the extreme city heat. The bathroom was large, and everything was neat and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend BB When in Rome, in the future!
Good on All Counts
Great location, rooms were large, including the bathroom. Modern, clean furnishings. Our room was not ready on time, but we worked around it. Also, our safe didn't work, and although we were promised it would be fixed, it never was. However, we felt very comfortable leaving our valuables in the room. The owner gave us info about the area and kept in communication with us prior to our arrival.
The AC was incredibly powerful, just what you need after a hot day in the city. We didn't realize that breakfast was included. We got tickets for use in 2 different cafes. Both were nice.
I would recommend this property and definitely stay there again.

“I had lived abroad for many years, and when I came back my mother told me: 'that's your house!'. Actually, at the beginnig I was not very happy since I grow up in Monti, in the first neighborhood of Rome, in front of the Colosseum. Eventually, I love this place I could not move any longer. Here there is everything you want from a place where you are: there is history, beauties, gardens, bar, restaurants, cinemas...Roman authenticity!”

Welcome to the B&B When in Rome. When in Rome is a warm and homely Bed and Breakfast accommodation in one of the eternal citys most charming neighborhood, Trastevere.
Trastevere is the 13th rione of Rome, on the west bank of the Tiber, south of Vatican City. Its name comes from the Latin trans Tiberim, meaning literally 'beyond the Tiber'.
In Rome's Regal period (753-509 BC) Rome conquered it to gain control of and access to the river from both banks, but was not interested in building on that side of the river.
By the time of the Republic c. 509 BC, the number of sailors and fishermen making a living from the river had increased, and many had taken up residence in Trastevere. Immigrants from the East also settled there, mainly Jews and Syrians. The area began to be considered part of the city under Augustus, who divided Rome into 14 regions (regiones in Latin); modern Trastevere was the XIV and was called Trans Tiberim. With the wealth of the Imperial Age, several important figures decided to build their villae in Trastevere, including Clodia, (Catullus' 'friend') and Julius Caesar (his garden villa, the Horti Caesaris). In the Middle Ages Trastevere had narrow, winding, irregular streets. There was a strong contrast between the large, opulent houses of the upper classes and the small, dilapidated houses of the poor.
Thanks to its partial isolation (it was 'beyond the Tiber') and to the fact that its population had been multicultural since the ancient Roman period, the inhabitants of Trastevere, called Trasteverini, developed a culture of their own.
Nowadays, Trastevere maintains its character thanks to its narrow cobbled streets lined by medieval houses. At night, natives and tourists alike flock to its many pubs and restaurants, but much of the original character of Trastevere remains. The area is also home to several foreign academic institutions. The unique character of this neighborhood has attracted artists, foreign expats, and many famous people.
