Getaway Mountain Log Cabin

Il nostro 4-stagione capanna di legno (anno. Costruito 2002) si trova in un cul de sac in una zona tranquilla, lontano dalle strade principali della Hill Resort Community Chimney. E 'completamente arredato 3 camere da letto 2 bagni e può ospitare 9+ persone (Master (fino), camera a castello queen size inferiore e soppalco zona notte). E 'un luogo perfetto per una famiglia o per intrattenere gruppi di amici. L'arredamento è rustico e accogliente, con un mazzo avvolgente e l'uso di una stufa a legna in pietra ollare durante i mesi invernali. C'è un seminterrato parzialmente completato con un grande schermo TV e ping pong. Altri servizi per la vostra convenienza includono un grill all'aperto, fornello full-range, forno a microonde, connessione internet ad alta velocità, lavatrice asciugatrice e frigorifero. La cabina è stata costruita su due lotti ed esegue il backup delle Green Mountains.

La Clubhouse e disponibili (stagionale) piscina interna ed esterna riscaldata, vasca idromassaggio, campo da tennis, bocce, campi da basket, ferro di cavallo fossa, shuffle board, tavolo da biliardo, tavolo da ping pong e sala giochi per i bambini e giovani di spirito. C'è anche un angolo lettura e un salone con WI-FI. Bar BYOB e cucina con vista sulla piscina coperta e vasca idromassaggio. Griglie uso aperti e piattaforme con tavoli all'aperto. Certo, c'è una grande sala TV a schermo piatto (venerdì sera film per i bambini) e una sala giochi per bambini. Durante i mesi invernali, c'è un laghetto pattinaggio su ghiaccio e il riscaldamento rifugio curato (completamente imballato con i pattini di seconda mano. Il V. A.S. T. sentieri neve mobili si può accedere anche direttamente dalla nostra posizione! Su per la collina (a circa 5 minuti di auto), si trova il sentiero escursionistico Haystack ingresso e un laghetto di trote ben fornito.

Godetevi una tranquilla passeggiata attraverso il centro storico di Wilmington Village con i suoi affascinanti ristoranti e negozi solo un miglio di distanza. Venite a unire il divertimento e la convenienza nostra comunità offre. Ci sono 7 miglia da Mount Snow Ski Resort offrono sci / snowboard, programmi di sci scuola / asili, tubing, gite in ascensore panoramico, e discesa in mountain bike. Mount Snow presenta anche il "Tough Mudder" e vari festival stagionali.

Se il golf è la vostra scelta, siamo 1. 5 miglia a Hermitage Golf Club at Haystack e 5 miglia a di Mt Snow Golf Course e la scuola. Ottima posizione per la primavera, l'estate e l'autunno del golf

Siete anche a breve distanza dal anticatura e mercatini all'aperto; degustazione di vini; escursioni nella foresta nazionale di Green Mountain; Twin Brooks Snowmobile Tours; pesca in barca / d'acqua dolce nel lago Raponda e il Lago di Whitingham; equitazione; e slitta a Adams Farm. Se avete un po 'più di tempo, uscire per una breve gita in giornata a Yankee Candle o di Bromley Mountain Ski Resort, con anche uno scivolo alpino e parco avventura nei mesi estivi (un'ora). Non dimentichiamo le mele o sciroppo d'acero.

Great Summer Get-Away

We had a perfect extended stay at this great cabin. The generous open floor plan and deck provide a lot of very comfortable living space in a quiet, wooded setting. The kitchen is fully equipped with more than enough nice dinnerware, cookware, utensils and spices, etc. The appliances seemed new. We appreciated the new grill (with backup propane) on the deck and the patio set. Such a pleasant setting. The master bed was very comfortable, and slider provided lots of cool ventilation at night. Our sons gave the other beds a great review also. The bathrooms are clean and surprisingly large. Tons of closet space. The owner was very responsive and communicated promptly and kindly as this was our first VRBO. Can’t write enough good things about this place.!

The BEST log cabin in VT!

We are grateful to have spent another ski season in this beautiful home. It is clean, spacious, comfortable, functional, and set in the perfect location - the list could go on and on. This property has it all, and Marty and Deb are fantastic hosts. We would recommend this cabin to anyone at anytime! It really is perfect.

Beautiful cabin in great location

This cabin is lovely and has everything you need and is in a great location (very close to the little town of Wilmington and hiking trails). It's on a private lot but in a subdivision so you still have privacy without feeling too isolated. We really enjoyed the fireplace / buck stove in the living room and used it every evening (we had to buy our own wood, but that could be because the owners weren't planning for any more visitors this year). The large back deck also has a table and chairs where we drank our coffee and ate a few meals. The kitchen has most everything you need -- we cooked all but one night. And with the cabin's a-frame design, there's so much light, and all of the wood is gorgeous and makes the cabin so cozy. There's also a smart TV in the cozy living room, which we enjoyed! Marty was also very responsive and helpful -- when we first reached out, he wasn't planning to rent the cabin any more for the year but was kind enough to accept our reservation since it was our anniversary! Also, when we arrived and ran water in the kitchen, we discovered the sink was clogged, and Marty got a plumber out there the same day. Finally, my husband and I stupidly left our coats hanging on the hooks by the front door, and Marty is mailing them to us next time he's at the cabin, which is a relief! Just a couple of things to note that aren't clear from the description / pictures -- there isn't a real grill at the property. There's an old electric grill outside, but when you open it there's a small, charcoal camping grill inside of it, which we didn't use. You can also see a mounted TV in the master bathroom in one of the pictures, but that TV isn't currently there (though the mount is still there). We also had to make the beds and distribute the towels, which were with the linens on the bed, but again that's probably because the cleaning staff wasn't preparing for more visitors the last time they serviced the cabin. Other than those couple of things, the cabin was PERFECT, and we had a wonderful stay!

Wonderful Mountain Retreat

Had a wonderful week long stay at this beautiful mountain cabin. The stars bright, the water crisp and cold, the air just so fresh and clean. My family and I enjoyed eating meals together (a rarity in today's world!) and watching movies from the smart TV (with high-speed internet), all while having a roaring fire going in the large wood burning stove. The cabin is in a quaint little town by a reservoir, and just an hour or two away from a variety of activities. My father and mother-in-law enjoyed the upstairs master suite, with balcony and private bathroom. I enjoyed the queen sized bed, and my sister had the option of sleeping on one of 4 different bunk beds in the third bedroom. There was also a delightful loft overlooking the living room. The only downside was that COVID had closed the community center, which was a shame as we had wanted to specifically make use of those facilities (indoor pool, hot-tub, movie room). Last but not least my mother-in-law and sister had a blast trying to find all of the chickens!

This property was purchased as a present to my new Yankee wife. She wanted a place that she could come back to reflect on her New England upbringing. It was a perfect gift since we moved to Atlanta and then Texas. We did not rent the place out much since it was "her house" but later thought other people would enjoy it also. She put her own decorating touch on it and we continue to visit once a year, hoping that upon retirement we will stay forever. So enjoy it while you can because soon it will become home again.
