Spectacular!!!

The property was just wonderful. Immaculately clean and perfectly prepared for our arrival. Everything stated in the description was clean and functional. The location of the property provided easy access to the beach, golf and very importantly, for my grandson, the ice cream parlor. Spectacular Vacation. Ready to book 2019!!!!!

Lake Life

We have frequented Huletts Landing over many years and rented many different houses. This was one of the nicer homes we have rented. The a/c came in very handy at the beginning of the week, it was hot and humid, most other houses do not offer that amenity. The house was nicely stocked with all the “at home” amnesties, I.e. towels, linens, etc. The owner’s were a pleasure to deal with, we hope to rent from them in the future. Great place for families!

Quaint cottage - warm community

My family and I had a great time at Hulett's Island. The cottage/home was very quaint and the area was very well kept and fun. The kids enjoyed the beach area immensely and the tennis courts. The lake itself provided tons of fun and fishing. The home itself was well situated and accommodating for our needs. We had a little trouble with the oven but once the owner told us the trick it worked well. We will be going back in the future.

Great rental for the price

My family and I, eleven of us in all, rented this house for 5 days in September. Upon arrival, we were pleased to find, that everything was in place, as explained to us. After a quick inspection of the house it was apparent to us that we would enjoy our stay here. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and offered ample sleeping space for our group. All rooms were equipped with window unit A/C which cooled this large house to a comfortable temperature. The common areas provided plenty of seating for meals, and just hanging around, including the screened in wrap around porch where we spent much of our time. Outside the house, there was a gas grill that we couldn't get to work, but we made due with a charcoal grill that we found in the shed. There is a nice size yard that is manicured to perfection, complete with flower beds and lush grass, this made our outdoor activities all the more pleasant. Included in the rental,was a kayak that is certainly a seaworthy craft, as we all enjoyed paddling out to one of the closer islands on the lake. The people of Huletts Landing were more than accommodating, and super friendly, despite the fact that we were obviously tourists, and clearly not from the area. Overall our stay here was absolutely amazing, however, there were some things I would've preferred different. I had hoped there would have been a better view of the lake from the house, there is actually no view of the lake at all, and the house is a few hundred yards from the beach. We were hoping to spend more time out on the lake and had planned to rent kayaks from the marina but the rental rates were outrageous. This left us with the one kayak included in the rental to share between eleven people. The price for the rental was more than reasonable, and we all agreed, we would definitely go again, only next time I think we would consider paying more for something closer to, or on the lake.

Perfectly located only 100 yards from the beach.

Very cozy, quiet and perfectly located. Very close to the beach and the ice cream shop being across the street is an added bonus. Had a great time would love to come back again.

The property was passed on to us. We have spent every summer here since we met & brought our children & now our grand-daughter to step back into a simpler way of life/vacation with family & friends. Its a little slice of heaven.
