PODERE VERDI COLLINE, with its wonderful garden, the scenic pool, the shaded areas under pergolas and gazebos, is the right solution for families and groups, and pets are welcome.
The farm consists of 2 independent accommodation (5+5). Each house has its own entrance and a garden / private patio, and overlooks a beautiful landscaped garden with swimming pool, gazebo, playground for children, barbecue. This allows those who travel in groups to share moments of conviviality outdoor in common areas, still maintaining privacy zones in individual homes. The interior has been skilfully restored in the Tuscan tradition, using original and recyclable materials where possible, or anyway local materials like wood, wrought iron, stone.. The furnishings are almost entirely the original, personally restored and brought back to the splendor of the past.
The farm is located at the foot of the small rural village of San Martino in Tremoleto, in the municipality of Poppi, charming medieval village set in the guide of the most beautiful towns in Italy. We are in the green valley of Casentino, halfway between two wonderful cities of art: Florence and Arezzo. Within a small distance there are the pristine forests of the National Park, the sacred mountain of La Verna with its Franciscan sanctuary, the hermitage and monastery of Camaldoli.
The property is completely fenced and closed with a radio-controlled gate; inside there is a large car park that can accommodate up to 6 cars.
The access is from inside the village of San Martino in Tremoleto, through a small paved driveway that leads down next to the church. The passage to the gate measures 2.30 m, therefore cars and small vans can enter without any problem. Larger vehicles, such as campers, will have to be left outside the property, in the spaces around the village.
Our beautiful swimming pool, sun-kissed until evening, measuring mt.6x12 with a gradual depth from 1.10 to 1.40 meters, plus an appendix of mt.3x3 with depth 60 cm, ideal for bathing children. In the large sunbathing area around it there are sunbeds, parasols, and a sun shower. In the garden there is also a large wooden patio furnished with armchairs and sofas, where you can spend time relaxing on hot summer days. A nice barbeque made of stones salvaged from an antique fireplace awaits you for your grill in company, while babies can have fun in the little playground.
At check-in, houses are equipped with all bed, bathroom, kitchen linens.
There is also an essential "start" equipment featuring: toilet paper, hand soap, trash bag, cleaning products, dishwasher salt and tabs, kitchen paper, tea and herbal teas.
As it is not a hotel-like structure, no service is provided during the stay, so the houses can not be supplied with the above products once they are finished.
