Located right in the historic center, just 150 meters from the beach, the flat consists of two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed, a lounge / kitchen with double sofa bed, wifi and air conditioning plus bathroom. It is located in a side street that runs along the main street (Via Roma) on the second floor of the building and can be accessed by climbing two flights of stairs not fit for people with mobility problems.
You will enter the apartment following a self-check in procedure, collecting the keys from the safe fixed on condominium gate. You must send via booking or watsapp or telegram photos of documents of all guests, including children (passport or identity card or driver's license) within the day before the check in. As soon as I receive the photos of the documents I will send you all the instructions to get to the apartment by car or train and the safe code.
Monterosso Council has recently introduced a “Guest Tax” of euro 2 x Person a day (older than 12 years old) for the first 3 days of stay. The GuestTax” will be collected by the host upon arrival, you will have to pay it cash and you will be given a receipt.

Location is great. Just a few problems with the lock in the door when we first arrived. It might be good to replace with a more modern lock. the stairs are a steep going up to the room. I would not recommend elderly people with any mobility issues but the place and the location are great!!

Accessiblity difficult

This property was difficult to find; the stairs to the actual apartment could be difficult for a lot of people. It was on a very busy noisy street and did not have air conditioning. I would not stay there again nor recommend it. Marta was very nice and the actual space was okay; just the accessibility and location were not ideal.

Good apt in middle of Monterosso.

The location is in the heart of Monterosso. Very convenient for accessing great restaurants and shops. The apt was great- all the amenities and the host was available for questions and additional supplies.

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

Starting from my flat, after less than 150 meters, you get to Tragagià beach, in front of the boarding of the boats for other 5 TERRE villages and Portovenere . On the right, after a short light ascent, you can go through a 100-meter tunnel that separates the historic center from the new part of the city. Than you'll be on the promenade: continuing on the waterfront after 300 meters you arrive at the railway station: the maximum distance between the new and the oldest part of Monterosso is one kilometer, less than a quarter of an hour's walk, so the whole village can be, from one end to the other, walked comfortably on foot.
For those who need it, a taxi service and a bus service are available. The other villages of 5 TERRE can be easily reached by train or by boat service. For those arriving by car there are two parking lots, one before entering the old town about 150 meters from my apartment, the other in the new area of Monterosso about 700 meters from my apartment. The train station is located in the central part of the promenade behind which develops the new part of Monterosso, about 600 meters from my apartment (ten minutes walk).
