Informazioni sul proprietario
Spacious,Comfortable, great location, lovely home.
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in the center of Rome. 15-20 minute walk to the Vatican, about 10 minutes to Piazza Navona and few blocks to Campo de Fiore market. We bought fresh fish and cooked them in the kitchen which had everything that we need to cook a meal for Christmas Eve. Only thing missing was a microwave, which might not be an issue actually since we had a full gas stove, oven and toaster. Coffee maker was great .They provided us with some tea bags and basic spices ,oil and vinegar. The kitchen was a galley kitchen so a little tight but would not be an issue if you're not really cooking for a lot of people. Convenient location and accessible to public transportation. About 1 minute walk to the Tiber river . A walk the main road Via Emmanuelle Vitorio where tour buses and public bus stops. Few blocks from grocery store and wonderful restaurant that served great seafood and pasta.
Great advantage because the concierge for the apartment building was always available and very kind and hospitable. Ruben spoke English, Filipino and Italian and helped us a lot with translation and getting taxis even during his breaks or early morning.
The apartment was very clean and had everything available including toiletries (shampoos, soap, lotion, cotton, etc.), towels, hairdryer. The washer worked well, we didn't have to pack a lot knowing we could wash our clothes there. The heater was brand new and worked well too. I loved that they had also a king sized bed. The fireplace was charming and nice , perfect for the Holidays. Pamela decorated the place for Xmas and made it so homey for us. The bottle of champagne and panettone was a nice surprise. But a warning to future renters: do not touch the left most switch in the bathroom ( there's three of them). We accidentally switched it off and it was for the water heater. We didn't have hot water for few hours. We had to call the owner on Christmas Day and they thought there was something wrong only to find out that we pressed that button. We appreciated the fact that they came to check immediately even on a holiday. I felt so bad for them though.
If you're a light sleeper though, you might wake up to some street noise every now and then which is kind of common I guess anywhere around the area.
Overall this was he best place for a family of three on a holiday.
situated wonderfully, furnished perfectly (everything, with the exception of a beautiful antique wardrobe in bedroom, seemed spanking new - including all the kitchen wares), immaculate, gracious and spacious. we would definitely come back -- felt this was a real "find." Rome was hot during our 3 day stay and the apartment's air-conditioning was excellent. One cautionary note: the noise of the air conditioner (and closed windows) may have obscured some street noise you might experience other times of the year.
Comfortable and spacious, in a perfect location
This 1 BR apartment is located very close the to the Piazza Farnese and Campo de' Fiori, in the very beautiful Via Giulia. King size bed with full bath, washing machine, full kitchen. The living room sofa folds out for additional sleeping capacity. Wifi, basic cable TV also provided.
We were greeted warmly by the building's friendly and very helpful concierge. The agent and the owner always responded immediately to our questions, and they made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.
The area has wonderful restaurants, wine bars, markets, and sightseeing. A 15 minute walk to many amazing locations, including the Vatican, Castel Sant'Angelo, the Piazza Navona, Pantheon, and much more.
We have recommended the apartment to friends, and would be very happy to stay here again!
