We stayed for 4 nights - it's very remote and there's nothing else around when you get there. 30 minutes to the store or town. Pool is nice, although because of the setting (trees, etc.) there was quite a bit of dirt in the bottom. And you can't really get out of the pool unless you're going straight back into the house because there are (big, medium and tiny!) ants everywhere. But one of the days we were in the pool, we saw monkeys in the trees above, which was pretty amazing!
If you like to cook, bring your own knives (or at least one decent knife) because the kitchen equipment was lacking. And be careful in the shower! The water pressure/showerhead nozzle isn't great and the water changes from very cold to scalding hot on its own throughout your shower. Oh, and the power went out 2 - 3 times/day and the water runs off of a pump, so when you are in the shower and the power goes out, the water stops.
All in all, it's a cute little house in the middle of the jungle with a few drawbacks. But a decent deal for the price!
