Nuovissima suite con giardino soleggiato nella casa dei personaggi a East Vancouver. Vecchia casa, nuova fondazione, pavimenti riscaldati, lavatrice / asciugatrice. Patio esterno rivolto a nord e sud con tavoli e sedie. Cucina completamente attrezzata con tutti i nuovi elettrodomestici tra cui lavastoviglie, otto piedi soffitti, camino a gas free standing. Situato in posizione centrale. Hastings Sunrise è un quartiere alla moda con caffè, birrerie artigianali, Deli italiani, ristoranti, pub di quartiere, piscine, palestre, studi di pilates e yoga, negozi di alimentari, farmacie, banche facilmente raggiungibili a piedi. Commercial Drive è un po 'più lontano - venti minuti a piedi, cinque minuti in auto. Dieci minuti di auto dal centro, dieci minuti in auto dalle montagne della costa nord. Molte linee di autobus a meno di cinque minuti a piedi.

A stay that exceeded all expectations

Very good stay. It is a very nice house with garden. It is about half an hour from the downtown by bus. It is about 10 minutes walk from the nearby shopping street, including many restaurants and supermarkets. the house is very bright in the rooms, and the living room has flowers. The kitchen was well equipped and coffee and tea bags were provided. Ice was provided in the fridge. The living room has a large sofa for many people to relax. Bath towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, toilet paper, laundry detergent were conveniently provided in the toilet. There are two bedrooms in total, one with a queen bed attached and one with a set of bunk beds. All rooms are very clean and tidy. The landlords are very nice and kind, and the family has a very cute dog.

Lovely area, great space

A lovely almost ground level basement suite with some vintage and antique touches. Mixed with modern pieces this gave an eclectic feel to the space, which was warm and comfortable. The kitchen was why we rented and it didn’t disappoint. We cooked up a storm with all gadgets needed. Underfloor heating prevented any damp feeling that basements can have, and the addition of the gas fire made it cosy in the evenings. The bathroom was great, with a window for ventilation and plenty of hot water and loads of towels. The bedrooms are comfortable, but the beds, while comfortable, squeaked; so if you’re a light sleeper do bring earplugs. The smaller bedroom has the furnace room next to it, meaning no closet space, but there are plenty of drawers and enough closet space in the main bedroom to cater to 3 adults. It was a tad noisy at times, but the host lives upstairs and evenings were quiet. We appreciated the on street parking. I was concerned that there would be road noise but it wasn’t the case. Our hosts were lovely people and helpful when we needed it. There are a few steps down to the apartment, with a flagstone path along the house. Don’t wear heels! It is a lovely place to stay though - and spotlessly clean. Thanks for a lovely time.

East Vancouver Gem

Lovely, spacious well-equipped basement suite. Odette and Ron were very welcoming and responded readily to any questions we had. This accommodation was the perfect launching pad for all that we had planned with our granddaughter. Wonderful!

Great location, welcoming hosts, comfortable stay

The apartment fitted our needs so well whilst visiting family last year we didn't even think about looking for alternatives. Comfortable, well equipped and handy for the excellent public transport network to Downtown and the North Shore which is important to us as we don't have a car. If travelling from YVR with lots of luggage I would recommend a taxi though. Odette and Ron are excellent hosts and always a pleasure to pass the time of day with when we meet.

nice place friendly hosts

good location clean and spacious. friendly hosts. there is street parking but it’s sort of assigned right in front of the house so it is convenient. there is wifi but no tv. that did not bother me because we were here to explore vancouver not watch tv however if for some reason that is really important to you be aware which is why i bring it up.
